The S.A.R. Rescue-Timer by Mühle Glashütte is much more than a watch – it is an indispensable tool for demanding operations at sea. Developed in close collaboration with the captains of the German Society for the Rescue of Shipwrecked Persons (DGzRS), this timepiece combines maximum robustness with pioneering precision.
Practical-oriented design and functionality
The distinctive 42-mm stainless steel case is specifically designed for use under extreme conditions. The crown at the 4 o'clock position minimizes injury risks during rescue operations. With the 4 mm thick sapphire glass (including an internal magnifier) and the shock-resistant rubber bezel, the watch is virtually indestructible.
The black dial is designed for optimal readability: high-contrast markings, luminous hour markers and hands allow for reading the time even in darkness or difficult lighting conditions.
High-precision movement
Inside the watch beats the automatic movement SW 200-1 in the Mühle version. This precise caliber impresses with:
