The captains of the rescue fleet of the German Society for the Rescue of Shipwrecked Persons (DGzRS) had a major say in the function and design of the SAR Rescue Timer. This practical orientation resulted in an exceptionally robust watch that is up to any challenge. Among other things, the 4 mm thick sapphire glass (with a magnifying glass inserted from the inside) and the rubber bezel ensure the particular robustness of this wristwatch. The 42 millimeter case made of high-quality stainless steel with the crown at 4 o'clock, which is rounded off for safety reasons, is functional - after all, no sailor should be injured when salvaging from the water. The rescue timer also impresses with the design of the black dial with date display. This is designed to be rich in contrast and designed for best readability. Luminescent hour markers and hands ensure that the time is easy to read, even at night or in murky water. In addition to the dial design, the other features and technical aspects of the new model are also impressive. The automatic watch is water-resistant to 100 bar (1000 meters) and is powered by the precise SW 200-1 movement in the Mühle version. The automatic movement shines with the following properties: patented woodpecker neck regulation, own rotor, characteristic surface finishes, second stop, quick date correction and 38-hour power reserve. A black rubber strap, which is firmly closed with a stainless steel folding clasp (incl. extension), rounds off the new model from the SAR collection.
