Humphrey Earrings Alpine Heart

Stainless steel heart, 12x11mm, matte-polished, 2 brilliants

The Humphrey heart from the Alps – lovingly called Alpenherz – was designed by Norbert Muerrle. It is cool, sexy, attractive, desirable, and chic.

Matte finish on the diamond side and glossy finish on the opposite side.

The brilliants are set with a classic setting technique further developed by Humphrey for stainless steel. A "bed" is milled into the jewelry for the brilliant. Then the brilliant is precisely calibrated. This brilliant is now placed into the setting bed and a little material is laid over the edge of the stone. In the picture, you can see a small ring around the brilliant. The brilliant now sits securely in the jewelry.

The ear hooks were also developed with our in-house designer Norbert Muerrle. These hooks can be worn with or without ear pendants and are very light. The end is an 18-carat gold ball, which is hollow inside for weight reasons. There is a left and a right side for the hooks. Ideally, the ball points away from the ear.

Humphrey offers a 2-year warranty on the jewelry with proper care. However, the lifespan is unlimited. Most jewelry ever produced by Humphrey is still worn today.

Brilliants:

The 4 C’s are important for brilliants. Diamonds are evaluated at 10x magnification:

- Carat (Gewicht): In this piece of jewelry, the brilliants each weigh 0.03 ct. (2 mm diameter)

- Color (Farbe): The diamonds used by Humphrey have the color F or Top Wesselton.

- Clarity (Reinheit): Humphrey generally uses VS stones. VS stands for very small inclusions, which are barely visible to the naked eye.

- Cut (Schliff): For us, the most important C. This determines whether the diamond sparkles in normal light or looks dull. Often manufacturers cut corners here. Humphrey uses only brilliant cuts that are excellently polished.

Humphrey ensures to buy diamonds only from suppliers who comply with the "United Nations Resolutions." Therefore, we can guarantee that our diamonds are free from any conflicts.
