The Alpine shark was first sighted in the Alps in 2006. On clear days, it can be spotted camouflaged on the horizon in a mountain range. With particularly good visibility, several Alpine sharks can be seen at once. On days when fog lies in the valley, they unabashedly circle around. Little is known yet about the habits of the Alpine shark. How could it remain unnoticed for so long?
Humphrey has now succeeded in capturing some of these rare and extremely shy specimens of the Alpine shark. But beware: once tamed, Alpine sharks are very friendly, cuddly, and playful. They preferably like to play on fingers, neck, or ear. Alpine shark (lat. Carcharodon Alpes)
The jewelry series was designed by our in-house designer Norbert Muerrle. Mr. Muerrle is a guarantee for strong, distinctive design.
The stud earrings have a matte finish, with polished edges. The weight is light. The design generously covers the earlobe.
The earring stud patent – called O-Pop by us – was developed and is protected by Humphrey. It contains a spring inside, whose secure fit does not change even after years. The size is optimal so that the part can be held well but is not too large to be unpleasantly noticeable. A spherical indentation ensures that the post of the earring stud automatically finds the hole.
Humphrey offers a 2-year warranty on the secure hold of pins and Patent with proper care. However, the lifespan is unlimited. Most jewelry ever produced by Humphrey is still worn.
