To improve the speed and quality of the GPS connection, each component in the GPS module has been redesigned. The operation of the Caliber 5X is also faster and more intuitive than ever before. For example, setting the time difference between Tokyo and New York now takes just three seconds. This is made possible by an independent drive for the hour, minute and second hands. New features also allow for automatic daylight saving time adjustment, allowing the wearer to instantly switch the main dial from home time to local time and vice versa.

By receiving time signals from the GPS satellite network, the time of the new Astron 5X series, like its predecessors, adapts to the local time in your time zone* with just a push of a button. It is powered exclusively by light energy and does not require a battery change. It delivers amazing precision with a deviation of +/- 15 seconds per month.
