It happened in the middle of the last century in the Black Forest that a hard-working and technically gifted watchmaker invested all of his knowledge and work in the development, assembly and repair of pocket watches and wristwatches. Carl von Zeyten made a name for himself far beyond the borders of Eisenbach. He lived his dream, the dream of a perfect mechanical watch. In the following years he collected many impressions and techniques about watchmaking as a traveling watchmaker in Switzerland and England. He was able to expand his know-how in various watchmaking workshops. CvZ recognized early on that very specific materials were suitable for the spring and balance wheel in order to enable largely precise time display. He later used his experience to assemble several wristwatches for hand-picked customers using artisan watchmaking skills. His quality standards were always to continually improve the watches he built. His dream began to become reality and could be passed on to future generations. A few years ago, this tradition was remembered and a classic, timeless watch collection was created - without losing sight of the original.
