This practical orientation has resulted in an exceptionally robust watch that can meet any challenge. The 4 mm thick sapphire crystal (with magnifying glass inserted on the inside) and the rubber bezel are among the features that make this watch particularly robust. The 42 mm case is made of high-quality stainless steel and is rounded for safety reasons and has a crown at 4 o'clock - after all, no sailor should be injured during a rescue from the water. The Rescue-Timer also impresses with the design of the black dial with date display. This is designed with high contrast and is ideal for easy readability. Luminescent hour markers and hands ensure that the time can be clearly seen even at night or in murky waters.
