The Humphrey Heart from the Alps – affectionately called the Alpine Heart – was designed by Norbert Muerrle. It's cool, sexy, attractive, desirable and chic. The stud earrings have a matt surface.

The diamonds are set using a classic setting technique that was further developed by Humphrey for stainless steel. A “bed” is milled into the piece of jewelry for the diamond. The diamond is then precisely measured (calibrated). This diamond is now placed in the barrel bed and a little material is placed over the edge of the stone. In the picture you can see a small ring around the diamond. The diamond now sits securely in the piece of jewelry.

The ear stud patent – ​​which we call O-Pop – was developed and protected by Humphrey. It contains a spring inside, the secure fit of which does not change even after years. The size is optimal so that you can hold the item well, but not too big to be unpleasantly noticeable. A spherical recess ensures that the pin of the ear stud automatically finds its way into the hole.

Humphrey offers a 2-year guarantee on the secure hold of the gemstone if treated properly. However, the lifespan is unlimited. Most of the jewelry Humphrey ever produced is still worn.

The 4 C's are important when it comes to diamonds. Diamonds are assessed at 10x magnification:

- Carat (weight): The diamonds in this piece of jewelry weigh 0.03 ct each. (2mm diameter)
- Color: The diamonds we use are F or Top Wesselton color
- Clearity: Humphrey generally uses VS stones. VS stands for very small inclusions or very small inclusions that can hardly be seen with the naked eye
- Cut: This is the most important C for us. This is where it is decided whether the diamond sparkles in normal light or is poor. Manufacturers often save money here. Humphrey only uses brilliant cut diamonds.
