Breitling's watch for every situation and activity. The Chronomat holds an important place in Breitling's history. It was launched in 1984 at a time when ultra-thin quartz watches were the norm. Breitling boldly opted for an impressively proportioned mechanical watch. The Chronomat is based on the Frecce Tricolori chronograph, developed in collaboration with the famous Italian aerobatic team and introduced to the market in 1983. The model stylishly celebrates the hundredth anniversary of Breitling and marked the return of the mechanical chronograph to its rightful prominent position within the brand, which built its global reputation on these incredible watches. The Chronomat is available in many different materials, including stainless steel and 18-carat red gold. The model features a 42-mm case and the legendary bezel with the 4 riders. The Chronomat is available with silver and copper dials and is matched with the characteristic Rouleaux bracelet. The model is powered by the Breitling Manufacture Caliber 01, a COSC-certified chronometer.
