Description
Certina DS-1 Big Date – Special Edition "60 Years DS"
Anniversary model with history and character
Tribute to 60 years of Double Security
With the DS-1 Big Date Special Edition, Certina celebrates the 60th anniversary of the DS concept (Double Security) – an in-house technology that stands for particularly durable watches. Thanks to special seals in the case back and on the crown, the DS-1 offers reliable protection against water, dust, and shocks. An innovation introduced in 1959 – and more relevant today than ever.
Classic-elegant design with a special detail
The DS-1 Big Date is presented in a noble stainless steel case, whose harmonious interplay with the dial and bracelet creates a timeless classic look. The distinctive big date at 6 o’clock gives the watch a modern detail that stylishly combines function and design. Whether with a suit or for everyday wear – the DS-1 Big Date is a stylish companion.
High-quality craftsmanship for the best wearing comfort
Scratch-resistant sapphire crystal reliably protects the dial, while the stainless steel bracelet with folding clasp ensures a secure and comfortable fit on the wrist. The watch impresses with its thoughtful balance of elegance, robustness, and functionality – a true highlight among classic men's models.
