The Cube stud earrings are elegant but can be worn every day. They are delicate, comfortable to wear and cannot be overlooked because of the diamonds. They underline the personality of the wearer.

The outer surfaces are matt. The interior surfaces are polished and therefore reflect a lot of light. All edges are softened and feel soft. Humphrey uses a nickel-free stainless steel. The weight is minimal, also suitable for sensitive ears and is perfectly balanced by the patent ear stud. This means that the stones always point forward and don't tip over.

The ear stud patent – ​​which we call O-Pop – was developed and protected by Humphrey. It contains a spring inside, the secure fit of which does not change even after years. The size is optimal so that you can hold the item well, but not too big to be unpleasantly noticeable. A spherical recess ensures that the pin of the ear stud automatically finds its way into the hole.

The diamonds are held by the force (tension) of the earring rail. They seem to float in the earrings. To ensure this is safe, two notches in the shape of the diamond are made in the rail using computer-controlled machines.

Humphrey has perfected this setting technique since the mid-1990s and offers a 2-year guarantee that the gemstone will be held securely if handled properly. However, the lifespan is unlimited. Most of the jewelry Humphrey ever produced is still worn.

The 4 C’s are important when it comes to diamonds. Diamonds are assessed at 10x magnification:

- Carat (weight): The diamonds in this piece of jewelry weigh 0.12 ct. (2.5 mm diameter each)

- Color: The diamonds used by Humphrey are F or Top Wesselton color

- Clearity: Humphrey generally uses VS stones. VS stands for very small inclusions or very small inclusions that can hardly be seen with the naked eye

- Cut: This is the most important C for us. This is where it is decided whether the diamond sparkles in normal light or is poor. Manufacturers often save money here. Humphrey only uses brilliant cut diamonds.
