These earrings are design classics by Humphrey. Their delicate size fits any ear and they are comfortable to wear. The diamonds, set at an angle, add that certain something. The studs are matte and the surfaces polished. All edges are softened and feel smooth. Humphrey uses nickel-free stainless steel. The weight is light, making them suitable for sensitive ears and perfectly balanced by the earring patent. The studs always face forward nicely and do not tilt.

The earring patent – called O-Pop by us – was developed and protected by Humphrey. It contains a spring inside, whose secure fit does not change even after years. The size is optimal, allowing the piece to be held well, but not too large to be uncomfortably noticeable. A spherical recess ensures that the pin of the earring automatically finds its way into the hole.

The diamonds are set using a classic setting technique. A "bed" is milled into the piece of jewelry for the diamond. Then the diamond is placed into the setting bed, and a little material is laid over the edge of the stone. The diamond is now securely seated in the piece of jewelry.

Humphrey has perfected this setting technique since the mid-90s and offers a 2-year guarantee on the secure hold of the gemstone with proper care. However, the lifespan is unlimited. Most of the jewelry ever produced by Humphrey is still being worn.

Diamonds:

"The 4 C's are important for diamonds. Diamonds are assessed under 10x magnification:"

- Carat (Weight). In this piece of jewelry, the diamonds weigh 0.06 ct. (each 2.0 mm in diameter)

- Color: The diamonds we use have the color F or Top Wesselton.

- Clarity (Purity): Humphrey generally uses VS stones. VS stands for very small inclusions, which are hardly visible to the naked eye.

- Cut: is the most important C for us. This is where it is decided whether the diamond sparkles even in normal light or looks dull. Often, manufacturers cut corners here. Humphrey only uses diamonds that are excellently cut.

Humphrey ensures that diamonds are only purchased from suppliers who adhere to the "United Nations Resolutions." Therefore, we can guarantee that our diamonds are not affected by any conflicts.
