Bauhaus Quartz 2140-1 – Refined and unmistakable
The new Bauhaus brand celebrates the incorporation of the Bauhaus building of the former VEB Uhrenwerke Ruhla and the watch assembly located there into the family-run watch company POINTtec. The building, in which the watch brands ZEPPELIN and IRON ANNIE have been produced for decades, was built in 1929 in the Bauhaus style according to designs by the famous Jena architects Schreiter & Schlag. Bauhaus watches, manufactured in the company's own Bauhaus building!
The brand's most minimalist series are the three-hand quartz watches, such as the model Ref. 2140-1, which still looks modern and fresh thanks to the colored accents and shines with details such as the domed, silver-brushed dial, the slim lugs and two-tone hands. The particularly scratch-resistant K1 safety glass and the high-quality Swiss quartz movement Ronda 505 make this designer piece a watch for every day.
The strap of the watch is an artistically handcrafted Italian leather strap in dark brown, with "Bauhaus" embossing and a length of 20 cm.
