Humphrey Stud Earrings Cube Diamond

The Cube stud earrings are elegant, but can be worn every day. They are delicate, comfortable to wear and cannot be overlooked thanks to the diamonds. They underline the personality of the wearer.

The outer surfaces are matte. The inner surfaces are polished and thus reflect a lot of light. All edges are softened and feel soft. Humphrey uses nickel-free stainless steel. The weight is minimal, also suitable for sensitive ears and perfectly balanced by the ear stud patent. This means that the stones also show inmm it moves forward nicely and does not tip over.

The ear stud patent - we call it O-Pop - was developed and protected by Humphrey. It contains a spring inside that stays securely in place even after years. The size is perfect so that you can hold the piece well, but not too big to be noticeable. A spherical recess ensures that the pin of the ear stud automatically finds its way into the hole.

The diamonds are held in place by the force (tension) of the earring bar. They appear to float in the earrings. To ensure this, two notches in the shape of the diamond are made in the bar using computer-controlled machines.

Humphrey has perfected this setting technique since the mid-1990s and, if treated properly, offers a 2-year guarantee that the gemstone will stay securely in place. However, the lifespan is unlimited. Most of the jewelry ever produced by Humphrey is still worn.

The 4 C's are important for diamonds. Diamonds are assessed at 10x magnification:

- Carat (weight): In this piece of jewellery the diamonds weigh 0.12 ct. (2.5mm Diameter)

- Color: The diamonds used by Humphrey are F or Top Wesselton color

- Clearity: Humphrey generally uses VS stones. VS stands for very small inclusions that are barely visible to the naked eye

- Cut: For us, this is the most important C. This determines whether the diamond sparkles in normal light or is poor. Manufacturers often cut corners here. Humphrey only uses diamonds that are excellently cut.

Humphrey is careful to only buy diamonds from suppliers who comply with the United Nations Resolutions. This is why we can guarantee that our diamonds are not affected by any conflicts.
