Peridot 7 mm, brilliant cut, patent stainless steel
These earring studs are simple and elegant but wearable every day. With a 7 mm colored gemstone, the studs are comfortable to wear and not to be overlooked due to the colored gemstones. They emphasize the personality of the wearer.
The surfaces are matte. Colored gemstones of the highest quality are used. Thus, they reflect a lot of light. All edges are softened and feel smooth. Humphrey uses nickel-free stainless steel. The weight is low, making it suitable for sensitive ears and perfectly balanced by the earring stud patent. The stones always face forward nicely and do not tilt.
The earring stud patent – called O-Pop by us – was developed and is protected by Humphrey. It contains a spring inside, whose secure fit does not change even after years. The size is optimal so that the part can be held well but is not too large to be unpleasantly noticeable. A spherical indentation ensures that the post of the earring stud automatically finds the hole.
The colored gemstones are set in a classic manner. Some material is curved over the stone. This looks stylish and also protects the colored gemstone.
Humphrey offers a 2-year warranty on the secure hold of the gemstone with proper care. However, the lifespan is unlimited. Most jewelry pieces ever produced by Humphrey are still worn today.

The most sought-after color is an intense apple green. Peridot is one of the very few gemstones that always appears in only one color, albeit in different shades. Peridot is an idiochromatic mineral whose color is caused by iron. This means that iron is part of the chemical composition and occurs not only in trace amounts as a coloring substance. Peridot crystals are usually relatively small, so the value of this gemstone increases significantly with size. Clean specimens are comparatively rare. Expertly faceted peridots exhibit particularly pronounced brilliance.
