Bauhaus Quartz 2130-2 – Refined and distinctive

The new Bauhaus brand is celebrating the integration of the Bauhaus building of the former VEB Uhrenwerke Ruhla and the watch assembly located there into the family-run watch company POINTtec. The building, in which the watch brands ZEPPELIN and IRON ANNIE have been produced for decades, was built in 1929 in the Bauhaus style according to designs by the famous Jena architectural firm Schreiter & Schlag. Bauhaus watches, manufactured in the company's own Bauhaus building!

The model Ref. 2130-2 "Small Second" exudes minimalist elegance and, upon closer inspection, shines with numerous details such as the black dial with a curve, the two-tone hands and the slim lugs on the particularly flat and supple case made of polished stainless steel. The Swiss quartz movement Ronda 6004.D and the elegantly rounded, specially hardened K1 safety glass also meet the highest quality standards.

The watch strap is an artfully handcrafted Italian leather strap in black, with "Bauhaus" embossing and a length of 20 cm.

As an official concessionaire, we offer the manufacturer's guarantee for all our brands. A 24-month guarantee applies to watches, including brands such as Alpina, Certina, Seiko and Oris. The guarantee period for jewelry is also 24 months and applies, for example, to collections from Collection Ruesch, Steiner Basic, Palido and Humphrey. The guarantee covers material and manufacturing defects. Normal wear and tear, improper handling or damage caused by external influences are excluded.

Rugged and Sylish

This watch is different in so many ways. The fully luminescent dial is easily read in all levels of lighting. Great for those who work nights or in exceptionally low light environments. The overall appearance in not overly formal but elegant enough to wear with dress clothes. The contrast of the black on stainless steel bracelet is wonderfully different than most watches you'll see. The 1000m water resistance is incredibly reassuring I can get it damp without concern. The black rubber bezel edge protects the watch as I'm very tough on anything I wear. All this and it keeps time impeccably. It just got elevated to the top of my watch rotation.
