Seiko introduces the new Classic Series

When it comes to classic watch designs, Seiko often comes to mind. In this spirit, the Japanese watchmaker today presents the new Classic Series. This collection initially includes five watches, all sharing the same stainless steel case and bracelet. Three of them are three-hand watches with a date display, while the other two feature an additional 24-hour subdial and an open heart.

Inspired by Japanese design

The Classic Series draws inspiration from the softer, gentler aspects of Japanese design. Compared to the brand’s Sharp Edged Series, these new models feature rounded shapes and softer tones on the dials, emphasizing a different aesthetic approach.

Three-hand models: SPB463, SPB465, and SPB467

Particularly notable in the collection are the three-hand models. These watches have a case diameter of 40.2 mm and are 13 mm thick. The case is polished, with brushed surfaces on the lugs and a stepped bezel. The elegant bracelet with a push-button folding clasp consists of seven rows of links, featuring a mix of polished and brushed surfaces. The curved links, resembling coffee beans, minimize contact with the wrist, providing enhanced wearing comfort.

Each of the slightly domed dials of the three-hand models is inspired by lustrous silk and therefore has a sparkling texture. The SPB463 is called “Shiro-Iro” and has a white dial.
