Historical roots with a modern update
The original Ocean Star Skin Diver Watch was known for its multicolored decompression table that displayed dive times at various depths. Today, Mido brings this iconic design back to life and adds a GMT function to facilitate travel. In doing so, Mido combines nostalgic details with the latest technical innovations – for a perfect symbiosis of past and future.
Retro design with unique details
The marine blue dial of this special edition features the original Mido logo as a polished applique and draws on the design of the legendary Skin Diver Watch. The colored decompression table provides a distinctive vintage look, while the blue anodized aluminum bezel with world time display emphasizes the modern travel aspect.
A red arrow hand highlights the travel time, while diamond-cut hands for hours, minutes, and seconds ensure precise readability. Thanks to the Super-LumiNova® coating on hands, indices, and bezel, the watch remains perfectly readable even in poor lighting conditions.
The box sapphire crystal is reminiscent of classic plexiglass and offers excellent resistance. The interplay of polished and satin-finished surfaces gives the watch a noble and sporty look, ideal for any adventure.

The Mido Ocean Star Decompression Worldtimer is not only stylish but also designed for extreme conditions. Its 40.5 mm stainless steel case offers water resistance of up to 20 bar (200 m) and is equipped with a screw-down crown and screwed case back.
Thanks to a well-thought-out changing system, the marine blue rubber strap can be easily swapped for a Milanese bracelet – for maximum flexibility. The textured surface of the rubber strap is reminiscent of the retro design of the 1960s.

This automatic movement offers a power reserve of up to 80 hours and is especially shock-resistant and durable thanks to the antimagnetic Nivachron™ balance spring.
