On the 160th anniversary of the Deutsche Gesellschaft zur Rettung Schiffbrüchiger (DGzRS), Mühle-Glashütte presents a special edition that not only impresses technically but also sets a strong sign for seafaring tradition and helpfulness. For each watch sold, 100 Euro donation goes directly to the DGzRS to support their life-saving work on the North and Baltic Seas.

Maritime symbolism in detail

The titanium gray dial with fine line texture shows the marine topography in the estuary area of the Weser near Bremerhaven – the location of the German Maritime Rescue Coordination Center. The red tip of the seconds hand recalls the color of the sea rescuers, while Super-LumiNova indices and hands guarantee excellent legibility. Under UV light, the indices reveal a special red tone, matching the DGzRS color, while they glow navy blue in the dark.

Limited anniversary engraving

The screwed titanium case back is adorned with the well-known Sammelschiffchen – symbol of the sea rescuers for 150 years – as well as the anniversary inscription and the individual limitation number. This makes each piece a unique collector's item.
