The first 29er was made in 2006 and named after a small sailing dinghy. Now Mühle-Glashütte has reduced the depth of the 29er. With a case height of 9.35 millimeters, the case of the 29er Casual is the flattest case in the current Mühle collection.

With a height of 9.35 millimeters and a diameter of 42.4 millimeters, the stainless steel case of the 29er Casual is the flattest case in the current Mühle collection. This makes it suitable for use in virtually any environment and it also cuts a fine figure with a sporty slim fit blazer.

The equally straightforward and distinctive 29er case has been one of the most beautiful outfits a Mühle movement can wear since 2006. Its charm is mainly due to the very varied surfaces. For example, the bezel has a brushed top, while the sides are finely polished. The middle part of the case, in turn, is given a vertical grain and is framed by the bezel and the also polished sides of the screwed case back. The contrast between shiny and matte surfaces creates an exciting interplay of light reflections and makes the 29er case a real eye-catcher.


Newly designed dial

The low height of the 29er Casual is partly due to the flat movement and partly to its newly designed dial. The latter, compared to the previous 29er models, has no rehaut. In addition, it is equipped with all the virtues of the sporty-classic 29er dials. These include not only the applied indices but also the fine minute numerals and the clearly drawn minute track at the edge of the dial.

The flat SW 300-1, Mühle version, is a heavily modified version of a proven Swiss base movement and has a height of 3.6 millimeters. The base movement is first disassembled and technically inspected at Mühle-Glashütte. During the subsequent reassembly, it is equipped with the patented Mühle fine regulation and the corresponding balance cock. The characteristic Mühle rotor also comes from in-house production.

After assembly, each Mühle movement is regulated in 6 positions. The elaborate regulation is based on the chronometer standard, with each watch adjusted so that its rate is between 0 and a maximum of +8 seconds per day. This is based on an internal specification from Mühle-Glashütte, as the wearer of a Mühle watch should not be late because of their watch.
