With the 29er Big GMT, Mühle-Glashütte expands the 29er family, established since 2006, with a functional complication for travelers and globetrotters. Named after the dynamic regatta dinghy “29er,” this line stands for sporty clarity, precision, and maritime lightness.

The integrated GMT function allows simultaneous reading of a second time zone—ideal for international business trips or looking beyond your own horizon. Despite this additional function, the case remains remarkably slim at just 10.3 mm in height and is extremely comfortable to wear even under a shirt cuff.

Clearly structured display with technical depth

The dial impresses with its clear layout and high legibility. High-contrast minute markers, applied indices, and hands coated with Super-LumiNova ensure optimal readability—day and night.

The second time zone is stylishly displayed on the rehaut. The distinctively designed GMT hand points precisely to the 24-hour scale, allowing for intuitive reading. The date and hour indices are located on a slightly recessed level, creating additional depth and structure.

Refined surfaces and sporty elegance

The 42.4 mm stainless steel case combines finely brushed and polished surfaces into a harmonious interplay of light and shadow. Brushed bezel areas, polished edges, and vertically brushed flanks give the watch both dynamism and elegance.

Depending on the version, the 29er Big GMT is offered with different strap options that emphasize the sporty-maritime character and ensure high wearing comfort.

Glashütte technology with its own signature

Inside works the automatic movement SW330-2 in Mühle version, equipped with woodpecker neck regulation, stop seconds, and quick date correction.

The new models of 2026 also feature a special Mühle special rotor, which commemorates "Three decades of wristwatches" at Nautische Instrumente Mühle-Glashütte.

The screw-down display back keeps the mechanical substance visible. With a power reserve of up to 56 hours, the 29er Big GMT is as technically convincing as it is stylistically confident.
