Product Description

Timelessly at 9 we named this pendant (design by Norbert Muerrle). 9 because of the position of the diamond.
The pendant is matte. All edges are softened and feel smooth. Humphrey uses a nickel-free stainless steel. The profile is rounded at the back and flat at the front. It measures 3.5 mm and has a diameter of 20 mm.
The diamond is held by the force (tension) of the stainless steel pendant. It seems to literally float. To ensure this, two notches in the shape of the diamond have been made using computer-controlled machines.
Humphrey has perfected this setting technique since the mid-90s and offers a 2-year warranty on the secure hold of the gemstone with proper care. However, the lifespan is unlimited. Most of the jewelry pieces ever produced by Humphrey are still worn.
The integrated necklace is a delicate 0.5 mm stainless steel cable that fits perfectly around the neck. The clasp is equipped with a push button, making it very easy to open and close – and securely fastened.
Diamonds:
Important for diamonds are the 4 C's. Diamonds are evaluated at 10x magnification:
- Carat (weight): In this piece of jewelry, the diamond weighs 0.06 ct. (2.5 mm diameter)
- Color (Farbe): The diamonds we use have the color F or Top Wesselton
- Clarity (Purity): Humphrey generally uses VS stones. VS stands for very small inclusions, which are barely visible to the naked eye
- Cut (Schliff): Is the most important C for us. This determines whether the diamond sparkles even in normal light or looks dull. Often manufacturers cut corners here. Humphrey only uses brilliant-cut diamonds that are excellently cut.
Humphrey ensures to buy diamonds only from suppliers who comply with the "United Nations Resolutions." Therefore, we can guarantee that our diamonds are not affected by any conflicts.
