The emerald green dial with a gradient reminds one of a diver's view towards the water surface, where light meets waves. The models in the Seiko Prospex collection are dedicated to the world of sport. This also applies to the new 4R Divers, which feature a particularly popular Seiko design: the unique contours of the "Samurai" case. In its newly revised form, it is more compact and striking because it is even more finely and sophisticatedly crafted.

The Samurai Nickname and its Design

Compared to the original "Samurai" (43.8 mm x 12.8 mm), the new case features slimmer dimensions. For improved wearing comfort and greater versatility, the new "Slim Samurai" with a height of 12.3 mm and a diameter of 41.7 mm sits particularly comfortably on the wrist. This makes it a practical watch with great style, comfort, and robustness, not only for athletes. Whether it's the proven crown guard or the intricate lattice structure of the crown and bezel edge for perfect grip – it's a pleasure to discover every detail of the watch.

Optimized Design for Functionality

When designing the bezel and dial, form follows function, typical for Seiko. Luminous material on the large indexes and hands and no superfluous decoration ensure optimal readability in every situation. The SRPL15K1 Black/Black stands out particularly. Its luminous material is not white in daylight but rather shifts to a creamy beige tone. The markers and numerals on the bezel also show a softer contrast to the black background. The case is also black and features an extra-hard titanium carbide coating. The indexes and hands thus stand out particularly and give the watch a minimalist look that is continued in the deep black silicone strap.

Revised Stainless Steel Bracelet

The stainless steel bracelet has also been revised and, in the new models, adopts the straightforward design of the case. The brushed, solid links continue the crispness and create a luxurious feel on the wrist.
