With the limited Belisar Chronograph Speedster Edition 2025, Union Glashütte brings a tribute to the automotive design art of the 1980s to the wrist. Inspired by a rare Italian rally car from that era, this model impresses with sporty character, bold color design, and technical sophistication.
Powerful colors, inspired by motorsport
The matte blue-gray of the dial is brightened up by strong yellow accents – including strikingly designed Arabic numerals, a central crosshair, and the yellow tachymeter scale on the edge. This unusual color combination is no coincidence: it deliberately references the interior of an iconic sports car and at the same time brings a new freshness to the Belisar collection.
Striking details with function
The totalizers are subtly integrated into the dial, the hands in black PVD-coated finish form a strong contrast. Instead of classic hour indices, the dial shows second intervals – a reference to the sporty origin of the watch. The screwed sapphire crystal case back offers a view of the automatic caliber UNG-27.S2 with 60 hours power reserve and chronograph function.
Two straps, one style promise
The textured gray-blue rubber strap picks up the dial color and its feel is reminiscent of Italian dashboards. A second leather strap is included with the watch – for those who want to flexibly adapt the style of their watch depending on the occasion or mood. The strap change is uncomplicated thanks to the quick-change system.
