50 years of moon landing or not: For all those who think differently on this topic, there is still so much exciting information to report about the moon. For example, that it has moved almost two meters away from the Earth in the last 50 years and will eventually completely detach from it. Or that there is now a new Teutonia from Mühle-Glashütte that captures the moon in a window at six o'clock for all eternity. Behind the specially shaped window of the dial, a round moon disc measuring about ten millimeters rotates once around itself in 59 days. The image of the moon can be found twice on it. This way, the approximately 29.5 days long lunation from new moon to full moon to new moon can be displayed in realistic one-day steps.
The high-quality stainless steel case of the mill clock is pressure-resistant up to 10 bar. Furthermore, it reliably protects the precise automatic movement with patented Spechthals regulation, Glashütte three-quarter plate, own rotor, characteristic surface finishes, second stop, quick date correction, and 38h power reserve. Other features of the watch include the case back with viewing window as well as the date display and the applied indices on the dial. A stainless steel bracelet with double folding clasp made of stainless steel completes the German timepiece!
