Extreme design for extreme conditions
Extreme conditions call for an extraordinary watch, and the Alpiner Extreme Automatic has proven to be the perfect companion for one of the riskiest and most technical competitions in the world – the Freeride World Tour. In 16 years, the "FWT" (as it is affectionately called) has visited the most demanding extreme ski and snowboard locations in the world, and the 2023 event will be no exception. With five stages spanning five countries (Canada, Spain, Andorra, Austria, and Switzerland), it is only natural that the most impressive mountain challenge in the world will conclude on one of the most demanding slopes in the world: the Bec des Rosses in Verbier, Switzerland, where participants will compete for victory between March 25 and April 2, 2023.
An event of the extra class
On this occasion, Alpina will host an event worthy of the challenge. This includes a completely new location in the brand's colors at the destination of Bec des Rosses and a special area that offers fans the best possible view of the competition. At this event, the best skiers and snowboarders will push their limits. To support them on their journey, Alpina has developed a watch that reflects the essence of their sport – extreme. The Alpiner Extreme Automatic Freeride World Tour 2023 is exactly where it belongs: in the realm of mountains, outdoor sports, and extreme conditions.
Alpinas Tradition and Heritage
Alpina was founded exactly 140 years ago by tireless mountain pioneers. They wanted to develop a watch that would do justice to their love for the heights and be shock-resistant, anti-magnetic, as well as waterproof and rustproof. Such features may seem taken for granted today, but a century ago they were quite bold – just like the participants of the FWT 2023.
