5 brilliants of approx. 0.10ct, 3 mm, TW-Vs, total 0.50ct.
The NY ring is inspired by the New York skyline. Here, more is more but not too much! A total of 5 brilliants are involved.
The ring is comfortable to wear due to the comfortable ring shank, which is 7 mm wide and only 2 mm thick, and cannot be overlooked because of the brilliants. It emphasizes the personality of the wearer. The surfaces are matt finished. The inside and sides of the ring are polished. All edges are softened and feel smooth. Humphrey uses a nickel-free stainless steel.
In this ring, the brilliants are set in a "channel." Each individual brilliant can move slightly and is not precisely aligned with the other brilliants. The result is a significantly enhanced reflection because light is always caught from somewhere. The "channel" for the stones in the shape of the brilliant is created using computer-controlled machines. The brilliants are held by the force (tension) of the pendant shank. They seem to literally float. The center part is clamped into the ring and allows us to perform any service work such as polishing, matt finishing, resizing, etc.

The 4 C's are important for brilliants. Diamonds are evaluated at 10x magnification:
- Carat (Gewicht): In this piece of jewelry, the brilliant weighs 0.25 ct. (4.1 mm diameter)
- Color: The diamonds used by Humphrey have the color F or Top Wesselton.
- Clarity: Humphrey generally uses VS stones. VS stands for very small inclusions, which are barely visible to the naked eye.
- Cut: For us, the most important C. This determines whether the diamond sparkles in normal light or looks dull. Often manufacturers cut corners here. Humphrey uses only brilliant cuts that are excellently polished.
