DS-2 Chronograph Automatic: From Generation to Generation
The new Certina chronograph is inspired by a timepiece that was – literally – at the height of its time. The predecessor of the DS-2 Chronograph Automatic proved its qualities during a spectacular expedition on Mount Everest. The new model carries this spirit of adventure into the 21st century, with a sporty, elegant vintage design and silicon technology. Legend of the DS-2 Chronolympic:
The DS-2 Chronolympic was the epitome of durability and reliable precision. In 1970, it caused a particular stir: five models accompanied a Japanese expedition team to the highest peak on earth. But that was not all. During the descent, the watch on Yuichiro Miura's wrist skied 2,000 meters down the mountain - at speeds of up to 160 km/h. The daring adventure was immortalized in a documentary that won an Oscar: "The Man Who Skied Down Everest."

Insgesamt bin ich mit der Uhr sehr zufrieden.
Lieferung dauerte knapp 1 Woche. Das ist für die Vorweihnachtszeit und die Entfernung in Ordnung. Die Lieferung erfolgte mit DPD. Zwischenzeitlich etwas verwirrend hieß es, die Sendung konnte nicht zugestellt werden und geht zurück zum Versender. Zum Glück eine Fehlinformation.
Vermutstropfen war nur, dass die Batterie der Uhr leer war.
Inzwischen läuft die Uhr problemlos.
Ich empfehle Juwelier Steiner trotzdem uneingeschränkt. Daumen hoch.
Alles bestens.
Ware wurde zügig versendet.
Paket war unbeschädigt.
Uhr sieht im Original besser aus, auf den Fotos.
Wäre schön wenn gleich ein Leder-Band als Alternative mit angeboten würde.
