Seiko Presage Craftsmanship Series - timeless looks, precise mechanics
The white enamel dial on this model is brought to life by master craftsman Mitsuru Yokosawa and his team. The new dial features bold gray bar indices that stand out on exquisitely crafted enamel, a material whose celebrated depth and invariability are also found on Seiko's very first wristwatch from 1913, the Laurel. The blue-colored hour, minute and second hands create a beautiful contrast to the glossy white dial. This creation features a recently updated case design with sophisticated angles and an elegant sense of proportion intended to highlight the craftsmanship in each dial. Powered by one of Seiko's latest movements, the 6R55 caliber, the watch has an impressive 72-hour power reserve, meaning wearers could take the watch off on Friday afternoon and put it back on Monday morning without having to change the time. This is the first time this three-day work appears in the Presage Craftsmanship Series. Thanks to the double-curved sapphire crystal, the watch appears slimmer on the wrist than many previous creations in the series. This creation comes on an attractive five-link stainless steel bracelet with a super-hard coating.
