Together with the Changjiang Conservation Foundation (CCF), Oris launches an exclusive model that focuses on one of China’s most endangered species: the Yangtze River dolphin, also called “Jiangtun.” Inspired by the dolphin’s habitat, the watch combines noble materials, symbolic design, and uncompromising performance. Limited to 1,249 pieces – exactly the number of animals still counted today.

Dial with a Message

The blue-green dial made of shimmering mother-of-pearl is the visual highlight of this watch. It recalls the mysterious depths of the Yangtze River and features a special wave pattern – inspired by the dolphins’ echolocation waves. Depending on the light, the surface appears lively and profound. An artistic tribute that also raises awareness.

The proven Aquis Date 43.5 mm serves as the base – a diver’s watch with maximum functionality. The stainless steel case is equipped with a unidirectional rotating tungsten bezel with a minute scale. Luminous hands and indices with Super-LumiNova® guarantee perfect readability under all conditions. Inside works the reliable Oris Calibre 733 – a mechanical automatic movement with date display and 41-hour power reserve.

The watch is water-resistant up to 30 bar (300 m), features a screw-down case back, and comes on a solid stainless steel bracelet with a folding clasp. Where others stop, the Jiangtun Limited Edition truly begins.
