Mühle Glashütte SAR Mission-Timer Titan - Ready for any mission
To mark its anniversary, Mühle-Glashütte is expanding its SAR family with a new model. This model draws on the experience gained from the rough everyday life of sea rescue workers and transfers it to a timepiece for the sea and coast, land and mountains: the SAR Mission-Timer TITAN.
To mark its anniversary, Mühle-Glashütte is expanding its SAR family with a new model. This model draws on the experiences gained from the rough everyday life of sea rescuers and applies them to a timepiece for the sea and coast, land and mountains: the SAR Mission-Timer TITAN. This is made possible not only by its sporty, functional design, but also by the completely redesigned case. This has a diameter of 43 millimeters and, like the SAR Rescue-Timer, rounded, closed lugs. As the name suggests, the SAR Mission-Timer TITAN is made of particularly light and biocompatible titanium. With its screw-down crown, it can withstand water pressure of up to 50 bar, placing it between the Sea-Timer BlackMotion and the SAR Rescue-Timer. The case back shows at first glance that the cooperation with the sea rescuers forms the basis for the SAR Mission-Timer TITAN. It is provided with a finely detailed engraving that shows the coastline of Germany and the area of operation of the sea rescue service on the North and Baltic Seas. The engraving also shows the locations of the sea rescue service headquarters in Bremen and the Mühle-Glashütte factory in the eastern Ore Mountains.

The large date on the SAR Mission-Timer TITAN also contributes to the good readability. In the new SAR model, it is around 30 percent larger than in comparable watches, making it easy to read the date without the need for a magnifying glass. This is mainly thanks to the reliable SW 400-1, Mühle version. In addition to the large date, it is equipped with the efficient Mühle rotor and the particularly shockproof woodpecker neck fine adjustment.
