Seiko 5 Sports: Second iteration of the 1968 original

Classic design meets modern technology

This is the second iteration of the original Seiko 5 Sports model, released in June 1968. With this "re-creation", Seiko offers two dial colors that were popular at the time of the original release. The case has been recreated as faithfully as possible to achieve a size and shape that is almost identical to the original model. At the same time, the watch has been modernized and the movement improved by adding a 4R36 to the case.

An additional calfskin strap with racing-style perforations enhances the model's retro look and offers a stylish alternative to the classic stainless steel bracelet.

With this second iteration of the Seiko 5 Sports model, Seiko manages to preserve the charm of the 1968 original while equipping the watch with modern technology and improved comfort.
