The weight is perfectly balanced - so the stone also shows inmm he forward.

The colored gemstone is held in place by the force (tension) of the setting. It appears to literally float. To ensure this, two notches in the shape of the colored gemstone are made using computer-controlled machines.

Humphrey has perfected this setting technique since the mid-1990s and, if treated properly, offers a 2-year guarantee that the gemstone will stay securely in place. However, the lifespan is unlimited. Most of the jewelry ever produced by Humphrey is still worn.

The integrated necklace is a delicate 0.5mm Stainless steel rope that fits perfectly around the neck. The clasp is equipped with a push button and is therefore very easy to open and close - and securely closed.

On this necklace the pendant is fixed and prevents the clasp from turning forward.

Amethyst Violet:

Amethyst is a stone that has a special fascination because of its dark violet color. The word violet means tremendous strength. The color comm t occurs in nature wherever a special power and energy is present.

The name of the amethyst stamm t by the ancient Greeks. They believed that the stone protected against drunkenness. According to an old legend, the amethyst was a nymph with whom Bacchus, the god of wine, fell in love. However, the nymph did not return her love and his advances were blocked. She asked the goddess Diana for help and she turned her into a gemstone. When Bacchus realized that he had lost his love, he poured his best wine over the stone, which then changed color. This gave the stone a protective effect against drunkenness.

Lolith Gray-Blue:

According to research, iolite, also known as cordierite, was used in Viking navigation even in cloudy weather due to its ability to make polarized light visible.mm el. This so-called sunstone is known from legendary traditions.

Iolite is derived from the Greek "ion" and means something like violet.

The predominant color of iolite is deep blue to blue-violet.

With a Mohs hardness of 7 to 7.5, iolite is one of the hard minerals

Tourmaline Pink:

The name tourmaline stamm t comes from the Sinhalese word “tura mali”. Translated, it means something like “stone with mixed colors”.

An old Egyptian legend says that a tourmaline travelled across a rainbow on its long journey from the earth's interior up to the sun. On the way, it absorbed all the colours of the rainbow.mm That is why it is still called the "gemstone of the rainbow" today. Tourmaline comes in more than 50 shades, from colorless to pink, red, yellow, brown, green, blue and black. A single crystal can often have several colors.

At Humphrey komm Only pink and green tourmalines are used.

Thanks to its excellent hardness of 7 to 7.5 on the Mohs hardness scale, the stone is suitable for all types of jewelry.

Topaz Blue and Green:

Topaz takes its name from an island in the Red Sea, which in ancient times was called Topazos. In fact, another mineral, olivine, was mined there and was long confused with topaz. Another explanation of the name goes back to the Sanskrit word tapas, which means "fire" or "shine".

Topaz has been known for at least 2000 years and is one of the gemstones that form the foundations of the twelve gates to the city of God, the New Jerusalem. These stones were intended to serve as a symbol of beauty, splendor and defense against enemies.

The color of the topaz ranges from yellow, light blue, light green, yellow-brown, reddish brown, red, violet and colorless. Humphrey only uses blue and white topazes. Many topazes are changed in color through treatment. This is also the case with our blue topazes, as they would otherwise attract enormous prices.

With a grade of 8 on the 10-part Mohs scale, topaz is one of the hardest of all gemstones – only diamond, sapphire and ruby are harder.

A colored gemstone brings joy on many days and for a lifetime!
