The Seiko Prospex SPB505J1 is a modern tribute to the first “Laurel Alpinist” from 1959 – one of the most legendary adventure watches from Seiko. Equipped with the new automatic caliber 6R55 movement, it offers an impressive power reserve of 72 hours – ideal for an active weekend without resetting.
Classic Design with a Modern Appeal
The dial stays true to the original: Arabic numerals, applied wedge indices, and the historic Alpinist logo give the watch character. The black of the dial plays with different shades depending on the light – subtle yet distinctive. On the case back, the embossed mountain symbol recalls the alpine roots of the collection.
