In Japan, traditionally after 5 p.m. is "nomunication hour" - a mix of nomu (drink) and communication - when it's cocktail hour and time to talk about things. The Seiko Presage Cocktail Time collection was inspired by this Japanese custom - each timepiece is named after the drinks mixed by Hisashi Kishi, head bartender at Star Bar in Tokyo's Ginza district.

The dial of this timepiece is modeled on the view of the drink through a glass and was inspired by a "Beer Julep" cocktail. Mr. Kishi mixes Japanese beer with whiskey, gin, sugar syrup, lemon and basil leaves to create a fragrant and fresh aperitif. The dial of this watch beautifully captures the sparkling freshness of the cocktail.

The striking gold-colored case and bracelet match the dial, while the gold indices are complemented by dauphine hands and a date function at 3 o'clock. The bracelet has a triple clasp with a push button closure and a transparent display back.

The watch has a diameter of 40.5 mm and a depth of 11.8 mm. It is powered by an in-house automatic caliber 4R35 with an accuracy of +45 / -35 seconds per day.
