To celebrate the 160th anniversary of the German Maritime Search and Rescue Service (DGzRS), Mühle-Glashütte presents a special edition that not only impresses technically but also makes a strong statement for seafaring tradition and helpfulness. Maritime Symbolism in Detail

The titanium-gray dial with a fine linear texture depicts the sea topography at the Weser estuary near Bremerhaven – the location of the German Maritime Rescue Coordination Center. The red tip of the seconds hand recalls the color of the sea rescuers, while Super-LumiNova indices and hands ensure excellent legibility. Under UV light, the indices reveal a special red hue matching the DGzRS color, while glowing navy blue in the dark.

Limited Anniversary Engraving

The screwed titanium case back is engraved with the well-known “Sammelschiffchen” – the sea rescuers’ symbol for 150 years – along with the anniversary inscription and the individual limited edition number. This makes each piece a unique collector’s item.
