The first 29er was produced in 2006 and named after a small sailing dinghy. Now Mühle-Glashütte has reduced the depth of the 29er. With a height of 9.35 millimeters, the case of the 29er Casual is the flattest case in the current Mühle collection.

With a height of 9.35 millimeters and a diameter of 42.4 millimeters, the stainless steel case of the 29er Casual is the flattest case in the current Mühle collection. This makes it suitable for use in any environment and it also pairs well with a sporty slim fit jacket.

The equally straightforward and striking 29er case has been one of the most beautiful outfits that a Mühle movement can wear since 2006. Its charm is primarily due to the very varied surface designs. The bezel has a brushed top, while the sides are finely polished. The case middle, in turn, is given a vertical finish and is framed by the bezel and the also polished sides of the screwed bottom. The contrast between shiny and matte surfaces creates an exciting interplay of light reflections and makes the 29er case a real eye-catcher.


Newly designed dial

The low case height of the 29er Casual is, on the one hand, a result of the flat movement and, on the other hand, of its newly designed dial. The latter does not have a rehaut compared to the previous 29er models. Furthermore, it is equipped with all the virtues of the sporty-classic 29er dials. These include not only the applied indices but also the fine minute numbers and the clearly drawn minute markers at the edge of the dial.

The flat SW 300-1, version Mühle, is a heavily modified version of a proven Swiss base movement and has a height of 3.6 millimeters. The base movement is initially disassembled and technically inspected at Mühle-Glashütte. During the subsequent reassembly, it is equipped with the patented Mühle fine regulation and the corresponding balance cock. The characteristic Mühle rotor also comes from in-house production.

"After assembly, each Mühle movement is regulated in 6 positions. The elaborate regulation is based on the chronometer standard, with each watch being set so that its rate is between 0 and a maximum of +8 seconds per day. This is based on an internal guideline from Mühle-Glashütte, as the wearer of a Mühle watch should not be late due to their watch."
