Seiko Presage Sharp Edge Automatic - a masterful timepiece
This watch celebrates the 110th anniversary of the "Laurel" - the first wristwatch made in Japan by Seiko.
Similar to the original design of the "Laurel", this model has a white dial with a red accent color at 12 o'clock. The leather used for the strap is
mm t from LWG-certified tanneries - the Leather Working Group, a non-profit organization dedicated to sustainable leather production.This design is an addition to the Presage Sharp-Edged series - watches that feature a sharply contoured case and a traditional "Asanoha" pattern on the dial, symbolizing a hemp leaf and representing growth and success. This watch is powered by the new, in-house developed Seiko 6R55 caliber with an extended three-day power reserve.

I had been considering this watch for several months with the intention of including it in a 3 or 4 watch rotation. As it turned out, I have been wearing it every day. It is a unique and beautiful timepiece that you must wear to appreciate.
Purchasing the watch from Steiner was a very good experience as well. The watch with the off-white dial was not in stock, but Anna contacted me immediately to offer an alternative. I decided to wait for this version to be ordered. Again, Anna followed up to let me know the status and shipped it promptly after she received it. I would definitely order from them again.
