The new Presage Craftsmanship Limited Edition represents the successful fusion of traditional Japanese craftsmanship and contemporary watch design. For the first time, this collection uses unglazed Arita porcelain for the dial – matte, minimalist, and with a unique tactile feel.

Design & Symbolism

The modern interpretation of the hishi pattern, a historic symbol of luck, protection, and longevity, shapes the dial’s texture. The fine lines stand out especially well on the velvety white, unglazed surface. Gold-colored hands and indices add elegant accents and create a stylish contrast.

Arita Porcelain Dial

Arita porcelain is one of Japan’s oldest porcelains, with roots dating back to the 17th century. The unglazed version of this watch is a true work of art – crafted by Hiroyuki Hashiguchi in collaboration with kiln master Toshiyaki Kawaguchi at the renowned Shin-Kama Workshop in Arita (Saga). The material is more than four times as durable as conventional porcelain and undergoes a highly precise manufacturing process, fired at 1,300 °C.

Strap & Sustainability

A black leather strap from LWG-certified sustainable production emphasizes the watch’s elegance. The gentle sheen of the leather forms a harmonious counterpoint to the matte surface of the dial.
