Seiko Presage Automatic Arita - Japanese craftsmanship

Seiko Presage presents an automatic watch that combines Seiko's know-how with artistic dials and watchmaking refinement. The beauty of the Arita porcelain dial reflects the care and craftsmanship for which the Presage collection is known.

Arita Porcelain: A Heritage of Japanese Craftsmanship

Arita, a small town on Kyushu, the third largest island in southwestern Japan, rose to fame at the beginning of the 17th century when clay suitable for making porcelain was found there. The porcelain products soon became valued in Japan for their high quality and craftsmanship. The mechanical movements of the Seiko Presage models, which are based on the legacy of Seiko's more than 100-year watchmaking tradition, have an equally impressive history.mm en.
