Steel pat. 2 brilliants approx. 0.03 ct. 2.0 mm Tw-Vs, 15 mm
These earrings are design classics by Humphrey. Their delicate size fits any ear and they are comfortable to wear. The brilliants set in the bevel give them that certain something. The studs are matte and the surfaces polished. All edges are softened and feel smooth. Humphrey uses a nickel-free stainless steel. The weight is low, making them suitable for sensitive ears and perfectly balanced by the earring patent. The studs always point nicely forward and do not tilt.
The earring patent – called O-Pop by us – was developed and is protected by Humphrey. It contains a spring inside, whose secure fit does not change even after years. The size is optimal so that the part can be held well but is not too large to be unpleasantly noticeable. A spherical recess ensures that the post of the earring automatically finds the hole.
The brilliants are set with a classic setting technique. A "bed" is milled into the jewelry for the brilliant. Then the brilliant is placed into the setting bed and a little material is laid over the edge of the stone. The brilliant now sits securely in the jewelry.
Humphrey has perfected this setting technique since the mid-90s and offers a 2-year warranty on the secure hold of the gemstone with proper care. However, the lifespan is unlimited. Most jewelry pieces ever produced by Humphrey are still worn today.

The 4 C’s are important for brilliants. Diamonds are evaluated at 10x magnification:
- Carat (weight). In this piece of jewelry, the brilliants weigh 0.06 ct. (each 2.0 mm diameter)
- Color: The diamonds we use have the color F or Top Wesselton.
- Clarity: Humphrey generally uses VS stones. VS stands for very small inclusions that are barely visible to the naked eye.
- Cut: is the most important C for us. This determines whether the diamond sparkles in normal light or looks dull. Often manufacturers cut corners here. Humphrey uses only excellently cut brilliants.
