Legend of the DS-2 Chronolympic:
The DS-2 Chronolympic was the epitome of resilience and reliable precision. In 1970, it caused a sensation: five models accompanied a Japanese expedition team to the highest peak on Earth. But that was not all. On the descent, the watch on Yuichiro Miura's wrist sped down the mountain on skis for 2,000 meters – at speeds of up to 160 km/h. The daring adventure was immortalized in a documentary film that won an Oscar: "The Man Who Skied Down Everest."
