Certina DS-2 - new standards in durability
The new DS-2 Turning Bezel from the Swiss watchmaker Certina revives the Swinging Sixties with its tonneau-shaped case and vintage design. At its heart, however, it is fully committed to the here and now: its automatic movement ticks with an 80-hour power reserve and NivachronTM balance spring. The gray-blue striped Sea Turtle Conservancy special edition is also dedicated to the future: the preservation of our oceans and their inhabitants.
A design with recognition value
The predecessors of the DS-2 Turning Bezel set standards in the 1960s for durability and style. The new collection is no less impressive. The tonneau-shaped case (42 x 41 mm) is equipped with a unidirectional rotating bezel. The watch is worn with a stainless steel bracelet. Additionally, a textile strap is included in the delivery.
A strong heartbeat
The DS-2 Turning Bezel is powered by an automatic caliber with an 80-hour power reserve and antimagnetic Nivachron® balance spring. Its delicate mechanics can be admired through the transparent case back. It precisely and reliably drives the hour, minute, second, and date displays at 3 o'clock. The screw-down crown and the proven DS system ensure water resistance up to a pressure of 20 bar (200 m).
