The moon phase display is one of the most traditional complications in the art of watchmaking. Union Glashütte presents it in a timelessly elegant guise: a round stainless steel case with a diameter of 44 mm puts the Belisar Chronograph Moon Phase in the limelight. The pushers of the chronograph mechanism are joined by a discreet corrector at 10 o'clock, with which the day of the week can be set separately. Sapphire glass with anti-reflective coating on both sides, water resistance up to 10 bar (100 m) and the characteristic screwed-on sides of the Belisar collection complete the list of its attributes. They are completed by a brown calfskin strap with crocodile embossing, which is stitched with light contrasting stitching.


The moon fascinates - on the wrist as well as in the cloudless night sky. With the Belisar Chronograph Moon Phase, a finely crafted golden moon traces its orbits in front of a dark blue sky. He is in good company: various calendar functions stand out clearly from the white dial with black nickel-plated indices and numerals: the date, for example, which is indicated by a central hand with a crescent-shaped tip, or the displays for the day of the week and the month. Like the moon phase itself, they are elegantly integrated into the chronograph counters, the 30-minute counter at 12 o'clock and the 12-hour counter at 6 o'clock. The small seconds, in turn, shares the counter with a 24-hour display at 9 o'clock . A blued stop-seconds hand from the center also takes over the short-time measurement.
