As a tribute to the 175th anniversary of the founding father of UNION GLASHÜTTE, this limited special model commemorates the birthday of Johannes Dürrstein. Not only is it particularly rare, it also celebrates the timeless fascination of mechanical watchmaking.


With its fine decorations and the automatic movement with the characteristic UNION rotor, the 1893 Regulator Anniversary Edition unmistakably points to its Glashütte origins and presents itself in a finely polished stainless steel case with a diameter of 41 mm, over which a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides arches. The watch is presented on a blue leather strap with an elegant crocodile embossing. Regulators were important precision instruments - they set the pace at which other clocks had to beat. The extravagant design of this anniversary edition, limited to 175 pieces with separate positioning of hour and minute displays, goes back to historical precision regulators, which also served as reference clocks in the former UNION watch factory. In order to read the time more precisely, only the minutes are displayed on the main dial, while the hour and second hands each rotate off-centre in smaller areas of the dial.
