SEIKO Prospex "Save the Ocean" Special Edition dive watch for men by Seiko Seiko Prospex "Save the Ocean" Special Edition Chronograph SSC741P1
Seiko's first dive watch, and also the first in Japan , was made in 1965, when watches with high water resistance were still relatively rare. It had an automatic caliber and was water resistant up to 150 meters . Designed for maximum reliability and readability even under the harshest conditions, the watch was used in the Japanese Antarctic Expedition (1966-1969) . Back when navigation technology was still in its infancy, a precise watch was absolutely essential for astronomical observations in the polar region, and the Seiko diving watch proved to be a reliable companion on every expedition. However, this watch could do much more than just meet the needs of Antarctic explorers. With the increasing popularity of scuba diving, a new broad target group developed for the watch. This set Seiko on the path of continuously developing durable , precise and safe diving watches , which continues to this day.
The Seiko Prospex Special Edition "Save the Ocean" was created together with the famous ocean explorer Fabien Cousteau. The solar watch for men is technologically up to date . The men's watch charges itself automatically using the power of the sun and has a power reserve of up to 6 months. The hour markers , which stand out sharply, are particularly noticeable. The illuminated dot at 12 o'clock provides additional orientation.
The diver's watch has fascinating and sophisticated properties. These include a hard-coated stainless steel case and Hardlex mineral glass, water resistance up to 200 meters for more reliability and a stainless steel bracelet for greater comfort both on the diving suit and directly on the wrist. Seiko Solar Chronograph - The chronograph for the sporty man!
