Seiko announces partnership with diver training organization PADI™. For over 50 years, Seiko and PADI™ have shared the passion to make diving even safer and more comfortable and to protect the sensitive underwater world. To honor the new partnership, in August 2016 the Japanese watch manufacturer is launching two special edition models of the Prospex series with the PADI™ typical red and blue tones, with the PADI™ logo at six o'clock on the Seiko dial divers watches. The case and dial of the Prospex Automatic Diver's Special Edition SRPA21K1 are reminiscent of a diving watch classic from the 1970s: the mechanical Seiko 150m. This watch legend with its unique case shape, its large hands and indices is still valued by watch lovers today.

The new Seiko SRPA21K1 is sporty, cool and equipped with sophisticated technology. The case is made of robust stainless steel and is protected by a Hardlex mineral glass. With a diameter of 45 mm, this sporty model is very eye-catching and will turn heads. In terms of watch technology, the automatic movement caliber 4R36 stands out, which offers a power reserve of 41 hours and 24 jewels were processed in the warehouse. Thanks to the Magic Lever invented by Seiko, the watches have a highly efficient automatic winding mechanism . In addition, the wearer has the option of supplying energy to the watch via the crown. The stainless steel strap with diving strap extension and folding switch clasp, which is provided with a safety push button, ensures optimum wearing comfort.
