Seiko Prospex Automatic Divers "The Great Blue - Sumo Scuba Padi"
Seiko presents a new PADI Special Edition dive watch, continuing the collaboration between Seiko Prospex and the globally recognized Professional Association of Diving Instructors. This watch style is affectionately called "Sumo" by Seiko fans due to its size and shape, as well as the 12 o'clock marker - it is a significantly more robust timepiece. The dial of this design was influenced by a diver's view underwater, when the sun reflects and shines on the surface. The light blue minute hand and the scale on the bezel ensure good readability in deep waters. The in-house mechanical movement Caliber 6R35 has a power reserve of 70 hours and is water-resistant up to 200 m. The case is made of stainless steel with a super-hard coating. The strap is equipped with a new, refined diver's pin buckle. It features sapphire glass and a date display on the dial. The PADI watch collection is exclusive to Seiko, the only global watch brand that has designed a series of professional dive watches in the official colors with the PADI logo. PADI (The Professional Association of Diving Instructors) is the world's leading scuba diving training organization, uniting divers around the globe who share a passion for adventure and a love for the sea. The proceeds from each Seiko Prospex watch are donated to support the PADI Ocean Cleanup campaign. Prospex is a combination of the words "Professional" and "Specifications."
