Seiko Prospex Automatic Diver Sea Limited Edition - inspired by Silfra
Auchen is at the center of Prospex, and the design of this watch was influenced by the landscape of one of the world's most famous diving destinations. It is inspired by the surrounding rocky, moss-covered areas of Silfra in Iceland, located between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates, which are moving further apart each year. Silfra remains the only place in the world where divers can explore the gap between two continents - the water is filtered through lava over a period of 100 years, making it the clearest water in the world - while adventurers explore the challenging terrain.
The model reflects the columns in the straits by creating a slope from the center of the dial. The watch is water-resistant up to 20 bar and features LumiBright on the hands, indices, and bezel - ideal for divers to maximize readability in the dark. It is equipped with the Caliber 6R35 and offers a power reserve of up to 70 hours. The anti-reflective sapphire crystal magnifies the date at 3 o'clock. The case has a stainless steel coating and a sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating on the inner surface to ensure good readability from all angles.
