Seiko Prospex Automatic Diver Sea Limited Edition - inspired by Silfra
Diving is at the heart of Prospex, and the design of this watch was influenced by the landscape of one of the world's most famous diving destinations. It is inspired by the surrounding rocky, moss-covered areas of Silfra in Iceland, located between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates, which are moving further apart each year. Silfra remains the only place in the world where divers can explore the rift between two continents - the water is filtered through lava over a period of 100 years, making it the clearest water in the world - while adventurers explore the challenging terrain.
This country-based watch is built in the classic "Turtle" design - named by fans due to its comfortable wrist shape and inspiration from the countryside. In addition to the stainless steel bracelet, this watch also comes with a green nylon strap. Powered by a 4R35 automatic movement with a power reserve of 41 hours and an accuracy of -35 / +45 seconds per day, it has a water resistance of 20 bar.
